FICO Eataly World

Electrolux Professional is proud to be part of the latest venture by Oscar Farinetti, known by many as Mr. Eataly. FICO Eataly World, the acronym stands for Fabbrica Italiana Contadina, is a fantastic place where you can experience Italian biodiversity; see the entire food production process starting from the cultivation of the raw materials to the presentation of the final product.
A 100.000 square meter area with 32 “food factories”, 45 restaurants, 9 markets, 200 animals, 22 cultivated fields, 1 theater, 1 convention center, 6 educational theme areas, 700 jobs that become 3000 with the affiliated industries, an expected 6,000,000 visitors a year … in short, just “cool”!
These are some of the numbers of FICO, referred to as the Disneyland of food: a theme park dedicated to food made in Italy, a large food chain where you can see how food is produced and transformed into the products that make great Italian cuisine around the world.

After Eataly and EXPO, once again Oscar Farinetti wanted Electrolux Professional at his side as the technical partner for the catering area for this new adventure.
Every day, our solutions will feed around 16,500 visitors, ranging from street food to the starred restaurant. A great commitment for Electrolux Professional, both in terms of performance and respect for the environment.
In fact, our green&clean dishwashers and ecostore refrigerators installed at the various refreshment points will allow FICO Eataly World to save over 700,000 liters of water per year and around 30,000 kWh of electricity for food preservation.
