Electrolux Professional renews Art&Science partnership with Worldchefs

The Art&Science Partnership, founded by Electrolux Professional and Worldchefs in 2014, has a mission to educate chefs across the world to elevate culinary standards and promote sustainable cooking.

For the third year, Electrolux Professional will continue to organize world-class seminars and demonstrations at the company’s Center of Excellence in Singapore. To date, more than 160 chefs have been trained in new technologies and given the opportunity expand their skills using state-of-the-art cooking solutions while networking and gaining invaluable skills and advice from Electrolux Professional chefs.

“Today, chefs need to bridge both the art and science of cooking and the Art&Science Partnership has grown into a movement. That is why we are happy to continue this partnership with Electrolux Professional and look to further expand its reach,” says Thomas Gugler, President of Worldchefs.

Based on the success so far, Electrolux Professional and Worldchefs will introduce seminars in Thailand and are looking to expand the networking program to key market Malaysia – where the Worldchef’s Congress & Expo takes place, July 11-14, 2018. Electrolux will be providing premium cooking solutions for the competition and stage kitchens at the event and will be present with the message to make a positive difference for the next generation through sustainable cooking and food consumption.

“Our ambition is to be the first choice for chefs when it comes to best-in-class cooking solutions that combine performance and sustainability,” says L uca Franchi, Regional Marketing Manager of Electrolux Professional. “Art&Science is integral to demonstrating how our technologies and the use of innovative cooking techniques can help to reduce waste, increase efficiency and generate more savings. We look forward to strengthen our ambition by extending the program to Thailand and Malaysia as well as our presence as premium partner at this year’s Worldchefs Congress & Expo in Kuala Lumpur.”
