Apple Chestnut Cake

Ingredients

  1. 260 g butter
  2. 210 g brown sugar
  3. 250 g sugar
  4. 300 g all-purpose flour
  5. 150 g chestnut flour
  6. 2 g baking powder
  7. 2 g salt
  8. 2 g ground clove
  9. 2 g cinnamon powder
  10. 375 g buttermilk
  11. 6 whole eggs
  12. 3 Honey Crisp apples, tiny dice

Procedure

  1. Cream butter, eggs, and sugars until light and fluffy.
  2. Sift all dry ingredients. Add, alternating with buttermilk.
  3. Fold apples into the mix; pour into loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 325°F for about 45 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool and decorate with meringues and cinnamon frosting.
