Two prestigious accolades recognize Electrolux Professional’s next-generation dishwasher for its innovative design, user-centric functionality, and intuitive simplicity.
Launched in 2024, the NeoBlue Touch Undercounter Dishwasher sets a new benchmark for sustainable, high-performance dishwashing where design, technology and efficiency are effortlessly combined in one solution.
“These two recognitions – Red Dot and ADI – proudly reflect the machine’s premium design and usability offering both a unique aesthetic and significant advancement in interaction,” says Francesco Lillo, Senior Industrial Designer.
Organized by Germany’s Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, the Red Dot Design Award is one of the most respected international design competitions. It recognizes outstanding quality and innovation across product design, communication, and design concepts.
The selection of the NeoBlue Touch Undercounter for the ADI Design Index was based on its outstanding originality, functional innovation, and formal synthesis. The product introduces a fresh and distinctive approach to professional equipment design, offering not only a unique aesthetic but also a significant advancement in usability and interaction. Its design reflects a refined balance between form and function, where every element serves a purpose while contributing to a coherent and elegant visual identity.

Curated by the Association for Industrial Design (ADI) in Italy, selection is a prerequisite to compete for the Compasso d’Oro Award, the country’s renown prize for industrial design.
The dishwasher’s standout one-touch control enables users to manage operations with a single ergonomic button, clear visual and acoustic feedback, and color-coded indicators.
Smart connectivity, enabled by the OnE Connected app, ensures seamless integration in professional environments, enhancing workflows, and overall user experience.
“Designed to be intuitive, the single, three-dimensional button is tactile and easily located, minimizing cognitive load by presenting essential information only,” Francesco Lillo adds.
Sleek and compact, the NeoBlue Touch Undercounter Dishwasher targets the fast-food restaurant and bar segments to achieve spotless warewashing results sustainably and efficiently.
Equipped to wash up to 65 baskets per hour with low running costs in energy, water and chemical consumption, the maximized loading space caters for tall glasses and mugs to pizza plates and trays.
The dishwasher holds the 4-star Ergocert certification thanks to its ergonomic design, placing minimal stress on operators who benefit from a market-best loading height of approximately 400mm and soft opening for easy loading.
Earlier this year, it also received a Platinum rating from UL Solutions’ Repairability Rating Program that acknowledges the machine’s ease of repairability, a crucial factor for the circular economy in extending product life, reducing waste and promoting sustainable practices.
