Advanced Cook & Chill Training Provides New Tools for Motivated Sales

Four days of advanced training using the Electrolux Professional air-o-system was provided to sales representatives who already had a familiar knowledge working with the cook & chill equipment.

The training event was held at the Charlotte Center of Excellence and led by Giacomo Paccione, Product Manager of Cook & Chill.

The four days were broken into two sets of training for the attending sales reps who came from all over the United States, allowing for more hands-on equipment training and product/accessory education.

Executive Chef Corey Siegel worked with the sales reps in the test kitchen preparing menu items including porchetta, rotisserie chicken, hot smoked salmon, lamb tikkas, Johnnycakes, challah, sourdough and focaccia breads.

Topics discussed included advanced combi oven and blast chiller theory, competitor analysis, water filtration, top 10 shortcuts and troubleshooting and customer case studies. New equipment including the thawing cabinet and rethermalizer were also reviewed. Benefits of using digital tools such as the e-chef app were discussed. The goal of the event was to motivate and educate the sales team on the full capabilities of the commercial market’s only complete cook & chill system.
