With his mobile Rock’n’Roll Laundry, Hans Jürgen Topf accompanies international artists on world tours and supplies them and their entourage with clean laundry around the clock.
Wrapped up in flight cases, numerous rock’n’roll laundries are waiting in Ludwigshafen for their next mission. For over four decades, Hans Jürgen Topf has been sending his iconic black professional washing machines and dryers on the road when international stars go on tour.
His mobile laundries have long had a permanent place in the backstage area, where huge mountains of work clothes, towels, stage outfits and much more accumulate every day and have to be cleaned immaculately within a few hours. To ensure that the washing service runs like clockwork, Hans Jürgen Topf used to go on tour with his machines, which he appreciates for their robustness and – like his machines – were in constant use. If appropriately commissioned, trained operating personnel will now take over the work.
