After inventing innovative culinary culture in Turkey and working in the best kitchens of the city, Fatih Tutak went to Qingdao years ago, which he described as ‘China’s Izmir’ in order to continue his professional culinary life.
After Qingdao, he continued his career in Beijing, Tokyo, Singapore, Copenhagen, Hong Kong and Bangkok. In Bangkok, he made into the 2017 the list of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants in Asia while performing his own cuisine at The House on Sathorn, where he was chef. At that very moment, Fatih Tutak has begun to be famous in Turkey. Fatih Tutak, who is among the top 100 chefs in the world, decided to continue his career in Turkey and opened the doors of ‘TURK Fatih Tutak” Restaurant in Bomonti, Istanbul, to his guests in the beginning of December 2019.
With ‘TURK Fatih Tutak” and the strength of his career journey to the best restaurants in the world, Fatih Tutak intended to create a new concept in Turkish cuisine while glorifying the gastronomic history of Turkey. He built the brand concept in order to be able to give the multicultural Turkish cuisine the value it deserved and to tell the story of Turkish cuisine until it is brought from Central Asia.
The spacious open kitchen you see as soon as you enter the venue, gives you a warm feel thanks to its architecture furnished with wood and beige tones. The kitchen consists of eight separate parts and the chef’s table, which are sorted side by side in front of the open kitchen and it is designed for guests who want to perform the tasting and get to know the team closely. Fatih Tutak, who describes the restaurant as “gastronomic, dramatic, theatrical and passionate”, emphasizes that his brand cares about its guests with the flowers and chef letters they put on the tables on a daily basis
