Dandy Cleaners takes the spot out with lagoon®
Dandy Cleaners & Laundry is a West Charlotte icon that has been serving customers since 1955, specializing in stain removal. Dandy’s was originally built by Joe Jacobs Sr. and later sold to Margaret Smith who managed the store until 1967, when it was sold to Kenneth Hill. Mr. Hill owned and operated the store for 35 years before retiring and giving the business to his son Larry. As a young boy, Larry was constantly around the world of dry cleaning, so it was only natural when he took over.

At Dandy Cleaners, Electrolux Professional installed the below lagoon®solution, available six days a week, Monday through Saturday:
- ironing table (FIT1-WC)
- form finisher (FFT-WC)
- 550l, tumble dryer with Compass Pro® microprocessor (T5550)
- 240l, front loaded washer extractor with programmable Clarus microprocessor, suspended frame, G-factor 350 (W4240H)
Larry Hill declares, “I am a proud user of lagoon®”. The business and clientele has immensely grown since offering both wet and dry cleaning, all in the hopes of further expansion. Dandy Cleaners has been an active supporter of the local community providing cleaning for area schools as well as many of the local churches, police officers, race teams and businesses.
