The Triennale brings EXPO 2015 themes to the heart of Milan with Arts&Foods and the new restaurant on the panoramic terrace on the top floor of the Palazzo dell’Arte. Electrolux Professional will play a leading role in a prestigious and unforgettable initiative.
On the occasion of EXPO 2015, the Triennale brings the theme of food to the heart of Milan by way of a show; Arts&Foods, dedicated to food as a work of art, showcased all over the world, and that’s not all.
Visitors will have the chance to discover an entire range of products linked to cooking and conviviality: an itinerary that is in constant evolution having analyzed the daily habits of man since the first World Expo in London to today.
Starting from the spring of 2015, for the next 4 years, on the theme of food, the Triennale di Milano will showcase a temporary restaurant on the top floor of the Palazzo dell’Arte for the Milanese and their guests with a breath-taking view of the new Milan skyline, distinguished by top quality cuisine, innovation and design.
Electrolux Professional will be the technical partner in the initiative: it will supply its state-of-the-art products for the show-cooking kitchen on the terrace as well as the back-up kitchen in the basement.
Chef Stefano Cerveni (1 Michelin star) who runs the Due Colombe restaurant in Brescia, will lead the restaurant on the top floor, distinguished by its prestigious location. Here, the exclusive design of Electrolux Grand Cuisine – the first professional kitchen system that enables a starred restaurant performance and atmosphere, but from home – will be the protagonist. Electrolux Grand Cuisine is an ultra-luxury brand stemming from the technological know-how and vast company experience in the professional restaurant sector.
Chef Cerveni will enchant diners with his mise-en-place, supported by a customized counter fitted with induction and the latest generation hood system.
In the basement, there is a kitchen furnished with the most innovative and sustainable solutions by Electrolux Professional which serves as a backup. The air-o-steam Touchline combi ovens which, the horizontal cooking series, tables and refrigerated cabinets with a 7 & 8 energy class and the green&clean dishwashers range will take center stage.
