After the two myPRO washing machines and two dryers to the charity\u2019s Antifreeze project had been donated, the equipment was installed inside a specially-adapted vehicle which could be taken to provide free laundry facilities around the region.[\/vc_column_text][\/elx_simple_block][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][elx_image_block background_image=&#8221;7325&#8243; minimum_height=&#8221;500px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=&#8221;electroluxpro-full-width-no-padding&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][elx_image_block background_image=&#8221;7326&#8243; minimum_height=&#8221;500px&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][elx_simple_block][vc_column_text]Having launched in early December, the van now provides individuals throughout the area with an opportunity to regularly wash and dry their garments, helping to bring dignity and integrity to those without shelter.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Paul Young, CEO for Off The Fence commented: \u201cMaintaining good hygiene is incredibly important to a person\u2019s health and wellbeing. Clean clothes are a key part of that, so we hope that providing homeless people with adequate facilities will help us to reduce preventable health conditions and improve conditions for people sleeping rough.\u201d[\/vc_column_text][\/elx_simple_block][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=&#8221;electroluxpro-full-width-no-padding&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][elx_simple_block background_color=&#8221;inherit&#8221;][vc_column_text]Landry Guillochon, Global Segment Manager for Care at Electrolux Professional, commented: \u201cAs a manufacturer, we are always looking for ways that our business can make a positive difference to those around us. We were only too happy to be able to use our laundry expertise to assist in the great work which is carried out by Off The Fence.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]&#8221;During my short walk to the launch of the mobile van, I passed five homeless people who were camped with their mattresses along Brighton\u2019s seafront. That\u2019s when it hit home that what we were doing was both necessary and worthwhile.
