Our combi oven manufactured in Italy has now been recognized by the country\u2019s leading design maestros.[\/elx_heading][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Having been <strong>named in the recent ADI Design Index<\/strong>, <strong>SkyLine is also in contention for next year\u2019s Compasso D&#8217;Oro<\/strong> \u2013 Italy\u2019s ultimate industrial design award. The annual ADI Design Index is a prestigious short-list of products celebrated for their significant aspects of originality and innovation. They are selected by representatives from Italy\u2019s Association of Industrial Design (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale) which includes over 1,000 leading designers, researchers and journalists.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAs the leading design observatory in Italy, ADI is a long-standing organization with a very structured selection criteria and process and we can therefore be very proud of this recognition,\u201d <strong>says Michele Cadamuro, Design Director.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis accolade from Italy demonstrates that with SkyLine we have created an iconic design that is appreciated through many cultural lenses.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, this is a welcome addition to SkyLine\u2019s string of achievements, adding to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electroluxprofessional.com\/au\/janus-de-lindustrie-recognition-2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">France\u2019s Janus de l\u2019Industrie<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electroluxprofessional.com\/au\/skyline-cookchill-wins-red-dot-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Germany\u2019s Red Dot Award for Product Design<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electroluxprofessional.com\/au\/skyline-cook-chill-receives-best-of-market-award-for-energy-efficiency-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GOOD Design Award from the US<\/a>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]What is often singled out in the awards\u2019 sphere is <strong>SkyLine\u2019s pioneering usability and ergonomics<\/strong>, as the only product range of its kind to achieve an independent 4-star ergonomics certification. The result includes effortless and strain-free elements, such as the wing-shaped handle to for easy opening and shutting as well as the door and chassis design to ensure loading and unloading takes the strain off the user\u2019s back.<\/p>\n<p>Now, there\u2019s a little wait to see whether SkyLine brings home the coveted Compasso d\u2019Oro \u2013 established in 1954, it\u2019s the world\u2019 oldest and Italy\u2019s most prestigious design award.
